How to Understand Bracket Diameter
Our resin brackets have different thicknesses (diameters) depending on their length.
・Lengths 50, 100, 150mm: Bracket diameter 16mm
・Lengths 75, 125, 200mm: Bracket diameter 20mm
We recommend the 20mm bracket diameter for scenarios where loads are applied.
※ For large diameter sizes, only the 20mm bracket diameter is available.
Assembly and Usage Procedure
1. Check the distance between pipes
First, temporarily assemble the resin bracket and resin cap joint to check if it is suitable for the pipe spacing and arrangement. If it is too long, cut the resin bracket to an appropriate length.
※ Please use a hacksaw or PVC cutter for cutting.
※ If you wish to have cutting processing, select "Cutting" in the processing options and specify the length to be cut in the remarks column.
2. Bond the resin bracket and resin cap joint
After determining the fixed angle, completely bond the resin bracket and resin cap joint with an adhesive for hard plastic, etc.
※ No threads are cut into each part so that the bracket length can be adjusted and the angle can be changed, so the bonding process is absolutely necessary.
※ If the bond is insufficient, the holding force may decrease or the parts may fall off.
※ If you wish to have bonding processing, select "Bonding" in the processing options and specify the bonding direction in the remarks column.
3. Install the resin pipe clamps
Set the resin pipe clamps while sandwiching the target object to fit the protrusions of the resin bracket and resin cap joint.
4. Fasten with bolts and nuts
Use the included bolts and nuts to tighten the resin pipe clamps and each part until there is no play. Be sure to use flat washers (washers) between both outer sides to prevent sinking.
※ Be careful not to overtighten with tools or excessive torque.
Precautions for Use
・Selecting the correct bracket length: If the length is incorrect, you will not be able to maintain the correct positional relationship.
・Necessity of bonding: For safety, always use the bracket and cap joint in a bonded state.
・Excessive load: This product is intended for position maintenance and sway prevention. It is not suitable for applications that support large loads as a structure.
